¡¡Cuánto me has enseñado en sólo cinco años!!

Ya he contado muchas veces cómo llegaron mis hijos abrasándome las manos cuando los cogí por primera vez en el paritorio.

El día de sus cumpleaños siempre recuerdo ese momento porque lo tengo totalmente presente en mi mente. Con sólo cerrar los ojos y pensar en ese momento, soy capaz de revivirlo.

La diferencia esta tercera vez fue que desde unos meses antes había surgido en mí una sensibilidad muy especial. De hecho, de esa situación personal, surgió este blog.

Tras dos paternidades en muy pocos meses, que convirtieron la paternidad en pura supervivencia, llegaste en una situación más sosegada, con un fuerte deseo de disfrutar de la crianza de otra manera, más tranquila, más profunda. 

No podía imaginar en ese momento cuánto ibas a cambiar mi vida y la de todos los de casa. No sabía que llegarías aquel 19 de febrero para comenzar a sacar de cada uno de nosotros nuestra versión más mejorada.

He aprendido contigo a disfrutar de cosas muy pequeñitas en situaciones muy cotidianas. Saber saborear un abrazo, una sonrisa, una caricia, una guerra de almohadas, una siesta,…

He aprendido contigo que el mundo mirado a través de la mirada de un niño es un lugar que invita a disfrutar de cada momento.

He aprendido de ti qué es la verdadera tolerancia, la verdadera inclusión, y que el respeto y el amor verdadero consiste simplemente en tratar a los demás como tú lo haces, como una niña, con tu inocencia, sin prejuicios. Esos conceptos tan grandes que los adultos los queremos imponer por decreto-ley los niños sabéis simplemente que no hay otra manera de relacionarse, que es así de simple.

Siempre recordaré esas siestas que dormíamos juntos en el sofá cuando yo volvía de una mala guardia. ¡Qué reconfortado me sentía, cuánta paz de dabas!

Eso es lo que me fastidia de que crezcas, que poco a poco dejes de ser un bebé achuchable para irte convirtiendo en una niña cada vez más independiente. Pero eso también me enorgullece mucho.

Para mí, mis hijos son «lo más» Pero es verdad que tenerlos tan seguidos hace que, en muchas ocasiones, se convierta en noches eternas enlazando tomas de pecho, biberón; en tener preparados sus pures, tener pañales suficientes, que duerman… Sin hablar de los cambios hormonales en el cuerpo, la cesárea o la episiotomía yyyyyyy….. la depresión post-parto! Quizás un tercer hijo (con los primeros más creciditos) hubiera sido un bálsamo, calma para disfrutarlo a tope todos y «una mascotita» para sus hermanos.
